Weezer is warm

Posted on: January 13, 2011

Weezer got a hair cut last week and has been freezing. I can’t find the sweater I knit him a few years ago and he has one that I sewed but it keeps coming off. The other day I got tired of picking it up from outside in the snow and decided to make him a new one.

Weezer in his sweater

The pattern I used is the Sock it to me dog Sweater by Brenda Meyers The loom I used is a 36 peg kiss loom made up of 4 9-peg modular pieces. I pretty much followed the pattern, the yarn I used is 1 strand of worsted weight that I had in my stash, no ball band but I think it might be Red Heart. It fits pretty good, though I should have made it longer and best of all he seems to like it. He isn’t shivering as much when he has it on.

that looks great! Love the colors too.

Thanks Kelly, I used stash yarn and don’t even have the ball band so I could tell you the color.

I was admiring your doggie sweater and then I saw that you used my pattern. I love the colors of yarn in Weezer’s sweater and the fit looks great! You did a wonderful job!

Brenda, thank you. It is a very good pattern as all of yours are. I always enjoy using your patterns. I love the colors in it also I wish I knew what yarn it is. I am only guessing that it is Red Heart by the feel.
