on:Hi all, I’ve been away for awhile. I spent April in Texas helping my sister Connie. She broke her leg. She has started physical therapy and is able to walk now. I returned home last Friday and boy am I glad to be home. A month is a long time to be away. The visit was really good. I got to attend my great nephew Wyatt’s 1st birthday party. We also had Easter at my oldest sister’s house and it was the first time since 1994 that all 9 of us got to be together.
I only got to do a little crafting while there, we were to busy with doctor appointments and such, I crocheted this cute little armadillo for Wyatt’s gift.
I purchased the pattern from Knitpicks He is called San Antonio Sam the nine banded Armadillo.
I borrowed my nieces sewing machine and made a saddlebag pocket caddy for Connie’s walker, I didn’t get any pictures of it. I purchased the pattern from Clotilde
I also made an itty bitty bag in LoomClass it fit my sister Helen’s phone perfectly. The pattern is from Bethany Dailey at Gettin it Pegged I did not get pics of it either.
I had planned to be able to play with my new toy
it arrived from Kiss Looms a couple of days before I left. It has a whopping 188 pegs, it measures 23 inches long by 8 inches wide. I took it apart and put it in the bottom of my suitcase, airport security did not like it, my suitcase got emptied so they could see all the parts, I was not happy! This loom is made up with parts that can be purchased separately to expand the sizes of exsisting loom parts. I mailed it back home and it arrived on Monday, I will be casting on a project later today.
