14 in 2014

I joined the 14 in 2014 group on Ravelry so that I could be a bit more focused with my crafting this year. Here’s my list:
1. Helen’s Socks I am doing the Loomclass on socks in January
2. Celestina learn enteralac on the loom
3. amigurumi nativity
4. 2 blocks each month from 2014 BAM CAL
5.4 puffs a week for my Beekeepers Quilt
6. 52 weeks of Grannies blanket for my bed, I will be doing 5 grannies a week, total for the year 260 and will be joining as I go
7. Worsted weight socks for me pattern to be determined
8. Sweater for me undercurrent
9. Kaylin clutch
10. 2014 Mystery Knit-A-long so I can stretch myself with knitting needles, plus I love a mystery!

Angel that is one ambitious list.
I want to loom knit a sweater (my first) and see if I can learn Portuguese needle knitting.
By the way Helen’s socks are coming out beautiful. I love the yarn.

Marilou yes it is a bit ambitious but doable most of it is made up of small parts so can be worked on a bit at a time. I’m not sure if I am going to needle knit or loom knit the sweater. I’ll have to check into the Portuguese knitting. Thank you on the sock.

Link to the Portuguese knitting. I bought the DVD. There is something about how the needles are held and moved that looks “right” to me. Time will tell.

Love this idea of 14 for 2014! Hope you get them all accomplished 🙂
Once I get this sock done from class, I need to FINISH some UFO’s. That will be my goal for 2014 … finishing what I start.

Glad you like the idea, I certainly need the encouragement. Getting ufo’s done is a good goal. I hope I can accomplish all 14.
