Wool-Eater Motif CAL 2013

Posted on: April 25, 2013

Hi all I was excited to come across this CAL the other day! Wool-Eater Motif CAL 2013
It had not started yet. The official start date was yesterday April, 24, 2013. I tried to get the button to put here but I can’t seem to figure out how to get it on my blog ( I use an IPad if anyone can tell me how that would be great). I am using Red Heart Super Saver yarn and a size G Hook. I made my first motif last night. It is a nice pattern. I intend to make at least 3 blocks a week. Here it is:

The colors didn’t come out very good in the pic, they are actually brighter. Headed out to dinner for my son’s birthday dinner at Olive Garden, ya’ll have a great evening.

Wow that is really nice’

Thank you!

This is so pretty. If I wasn’t so addicted to hexies I’d jump on this CAL in a second. All I can think about is hexies. Thanks! i’ll be saving the blog link and the pattern.

Thank you Marilou, I totally understand about the hexies, if these weren’t so pretty I probably would have resisted the temptation. Glad you might use it in the future!

I really like the pattern. Its so different. Normally I can’t resist but the hexies have me in a trance. 95 done since last month!

Wow, you must be in a trance to have 95 done in a month! What are they going to be?

A throw or a “beaded curtain” type thingy. I haven’t made up my mind yet. I am leaning towards the curtain. I can picture them hanging in a doorway and being so cool to push through.

Marilou, out that sounds like it would be pretty. Please send pics when completed.
