Bunnies, bees and springtime

I really haven’t been doing much loom knitting, the only thing I am working on is the Bee Bopper bag from Lion Brand.
I joined the monthly LAL group on Ravelry and this is the project for January. I still need to cast on my Bernadine Sweater
I seem to be inspired by crochet right now the new issue of Loom Knitters Circle Magazine comes out tomorrow, I am hoping to find some looming inspiration in it. Here’s a link
. This afternoon I am working on these cute marshmallow easter bunnies. Crochet pattern is by Doni Spiegle
They re very quick and easy and so cute. For the eyes and mouth I made french knots using bedspread cotton instead of beads as I am probably giving them to my babies at work.
Last weekend after I had put away all the Christmas decorations, I could not find the coaster set that I normally use, I had put it away while using the Christmas set that my Sister Helen had made for me a few years ago. Rob went to set his glass on the table and wanted to know where his “doily” was. Too funny I thought. since I couldn’t find the other set I sat down to crochet Rob a new “doily” Sunday afternoon I used a free pattern from Doni Speigle that I found on Ravelry
it is called Springtime Coasters. I used peaches and cream yarn in the color Sea Mist and I Love this Cotton from Hobby Lobby in White Spark.
I am pleased with them. I made 4 but took 2 to work before I took a picture.
The other night I tried a new recipe for pork chops. I found the recipe on AllRecipes http://allrecipes.com/recipe/pork-chop-soup/detail.aspx
It was delicious, really more a stew than soup, Rob really liked it. I made it according to the intstructions except I used green beans instead of broccoli, I just added them at the end.
I find it frustrating when I read a review on a recipe and the reviewer changed a a bunch of stuff, to my thinking a review should reflect the true recipe not something that has been changed so much the person has created a new recipe.
Dislaimer, it is getting late here and my photos seem to be in the wrong spots, forgive me I will fix it tomorrow.

Great bunnies, but I think I will need to make those coaster ‘doilies’ too. I saw the video for the heart and need to make it up too. One more hat order and then I can do the heart. I’m trying to clean up still so no new projects until at least one more is done. I’m going to try to be good this year. That will end probably as soon as the next ‘wonderful’ pattern is out though. No girls in our family or dolls so I didn’t join the doll sweater class. Sorry, it is very cute though. We are on generation 3 in our family of boys, boys, boys. Another one was born to my niece last Monday. (her third son,I had three boys, the daddy has 3 brothers)Where oh where have all the little girls gone?LOL

Your work looks lovely.
I am still following on with the Bernadine Sweater.
Must try the bunnies.
