Highlights of 2010

on:I have done terrible about keeping this updated, I am going to try and do better in 2011.
I became a moderator in the Loom Class group
I became a Moderator in the Kiss Looms group
I taught at a Loom Knitting Retreat in Illinois with Kelly Jones from Kellyknits
The retreat was a lot of fun and I got to meet some great people.

I was published in LoomKnitters Circle Magazine
I did a lot of knitting in 2010, but I did not keep very good track of my projects and right now it feels like I did not accomplish much. So I am going to list here what I hope to accomplish in 2011.
Loom Knit Oven Mitt this I will be starting on Monday as I am participating in a LAL at Gettin it Pegged I hope to make 3 of them
Slippers for Rob I haven’t picked a pattern yet
Pocket Scarf no pattern yet
Guitar strap for Tim this is my design and is started on a short compact kiss loom set up as a board, can’t show a photo as I left it at Crystal’s yesterday.
Peppermint Scarf for Sam how to’s at LoomLore this is started.
Baby Blanket for niece Sara baby is do in July or August not sure of pattern yet I made a pinwheel blanket for her sister’s son Wyatt last year
I would also like to convert crocheted Barbie Clothes to the Loom, I crocheted a bunch of them for Chloe, Jen and Molly for Christmas and boy were my hands sore. and apparently I did not save the photos of them.
I would also like to make an afghan, no pattern chosen yet.
I would also like to do more charity knitting and I have a scarf in progress for Vivian’s memorial to Threads of Compassion this is being organized by Graciela Worth
I am about halfway through a scarf for the Special Olympics, I am crocheting granny squares
I would also like to sew a lot more this year and I should have the time, since I got laid off in October and I maybe going back to school.
