updated finally

Posted on: July 3, 2009

Finally making some updates here. I’ve had a busy winter and spring.  Summer so far is being busy also.  My youngest daughter graduated from High School.  We took a trip to Texas and it is already July.  I have been looming a lot.

Loomed baby items

Loomed baby items from Graciela’s pattern.

Dragonfly dish cloth

Dishcloth I made using a Stitch that Brenda Dane described in one of  her Cast On podcasts.  She was taught the stitch in Italy so I call it the Italy stitch.

Easter Egg Cozies

Easter egg cozies made from a free pattern by Jean Greenhowe.

Pinwheel dishcloth made from a free needl knit one that I converted to the loom.

Bee Stitch Cloth

Bee Stitch Dishcloth,  the Stitch pattern is here : Bee Stitch

Toe up socks

I’m  suffering from second sock syndrome!!!  I started these for my husband in February and still have to knit the leg of the second one, so yesterday I had the day off and spent it knitting.  No I didn’t work on this sock,  I started another pair!!!  For my granddaughter Molly.

Molly's sock

I also tried my hand at Norwegian house slippers for Molly.

All of your items look fantastic! I especially love the little Norwegian slippers.

Thank you Brenda. The slippers where pretty easy. The hardest part was the folding and sewing together.

My name is Yvonne. I have mostly been a homemaker for the last 25 years. With a husband and 5 kids (4 boys and 1 girl) my time has been a lot about food. 3 of the kids has moved out, the 2 youngest (18 and 20) still lives at home. We are swedish but have also lived in Brazil and USA. Almost every morning, year around, I go for a walk in the great outdoors, planning my day.
